MAINLAND RESERVATIONS
An exciting but challenging position in our Inbound Call Centre where your key role will be focused on Customer Service by taking reservations for "FRASER ISLAND RESERVATIONS" incorporating Kingfisher Bay Resort, Kingfisher Tours, Fraser Explorer Tours and Fraser Island Barges, within a very busy, but friendly and fun Team Orientated atmosphere.
The position requires you to be able to show initiative, high attention to detail and be able to handle yourself well in high pressure situations while still maintaining high level customer service. Excellent organizational skills are required to be able to work to achieve targets and meet deadlines.
Duties and responsibilities: • Promptly attending incoming telephone reservations from guests and agents in a highly professional manner • Actioning Internet, Email and Fax Reservations • Imputing reservations data into relevant operating systems • Liaising with Local, Retail, Wholesale and Inbound Travel Agents and actioning their reservations. • Provide up to date and accurate information about the product and area to clients • Provide Information and make reservations for external activities and services • Provide accurate quotations and details of all services • Ability to be able to up sell and offer alternatives • Ability to obtain maximum sales and yield while ensuring customer satisfaction • Working to correct policies and procedures to guarantee work is completed to the highest standard and satisfaction • Ensuring confidentiality of guest information and Company information • Liaising and Communicating with Guests, Agents and various Departments and Managers • General office duties including, filing, banking, faxing and copying • Show initiative and high attention to detail
Selection Criteria: • Exceptional Customer service and professional manner • Exceptional communication and organizational skills • Be able to work in a fast paced Team Environment • Exceptional Time Management and the ability to prioritise and multitask • The ability to think quick on their feet and make decisions • Ability to learn quickly • Be able to follow procedure effectively • Experienced at problem solving and dealing with difficult customers • Competent typing & computer skills including email, internet, word and excel • Be extremely reliable, dependable, motivated and dedicated. • Be flexible to work weekends, early mornings, nights and holidays on a roster basis • Preferable experience in call centre, reservations or tourism fields • Preferable experience in operations software ie: Maxial, Respax and Qmaster programs A highly motivated, driven and organized person, who is courteous, bubbly, friendly and fun, would be welcomed to be a part of this successful and friendly and fun reservations Team. Commitment and dedication is required to ensure service is at an extremely high standard. The applicant is required to be autonomous, highly motivated, enthusiastic and reliable with a very positive "can do" attitude and high work ethics.
